Its a nice initiative taken by you to know more about OSS for KM.
If you see , the current scenario of market, there are very few OSS pure KM software available. Although many OSS software for content management available in the market like drupal, joomala. Some learning Management software like Moodle also available as Open source. These softwares only focus on one component of KM. Some Good commerial software Like MOSS-Microsoft Sharepont Server also available , which focus on overall all activities of KM.
